NH Bath Builder recently complete a tile installation in Candia, NH. In this particular tile installation, the homeowner was the contractor. Upon reviewing the new kitchen floor plan we realized that before the tile was installed, some plumbing and electrical needed to be moved to allow for new kitchen cabinets. The only problem was that the plumbing needed to be moved before the tile was installed. We immediately notified the homeowner and we’re able to walk him through what needed to be done, thus saving him thousands of dollars by moving the plumbing and electrical before the new tile was installed.
When completing a tile installation such as this one, it is important to take into account transitions. For example, where the kitchen tile runs into the living room hardwood floor. You really want to plan ahead so that the two different floorings are close to equal heights. In this particular renovation we installed Bella Hardwood flooring in the living room and a great porcelain tile in the kitchen.
