Swanstone shower with Duraceramic floor

NH Bath Builders recently completed a bathroom remodel in Barnstead, NH. This Bathroom remodel included a swanstone shower. Swanstone showers are an excellent choice. Swanstone is a man made product, although the exact ingredients are a trade secret owned by Swan corporation. It is established that Swanstone is a solid surface material consisting of mineral ingredients bonded together by hardened resin which makes it substantially more resilient then acrylic sheet material. It also is often regarded as much easier to maintain then tile and grout. Material cost of Swanstone showers is much higher than tile, however the labor cost of swanstone is lower, so the two choices tend to price out about the same. Swanstone showers and tub walls can be purchased at 6′ heights or full height extending to the ceiling. 6′ height is more popular as full height’s additional cost doesn’t generally offset the advantage. In this particular situation the customer was particularly tall, which is why the full height was chosen.

This Bathroom remodel also included custom cabinetry, Duraceramic floor, expanding the size of the bathroom and a Basco shower door. All of this was completed by NH Bath Builders and our close knit team of plumbers and electricians.
